The Guards red “K47”, initially a normal test vehicle for the development of the Porsche 964 in 1988, is now regarded by connoisseurs as the “forefather” of all 964 sports and cup versions. It is also regarded as the first prototype of the legendary 964 RS and is certainly unique in the sum of all parts used for testing. The “forefather” also kicks off the car.tima collection of selected Porsche 964s in 1:18 scale. Be excited.
Until the end of its development history in 1993, “K47” was significantly shaped and its characteristics tested by Roland Kussmaul.
The test vehicle from that time still exists today. It is owned by Roland Kussmaul, a Porsche legend who, as an engineer, not only played a key role in the development, testing and use of primarily racing cars, but was also active in motorsport. He was often successful together with Jürgen Barth for Porsche (e.g. Paris-Dakar) and also in private events with Porsche vehicles (e.g. Monte Carlo Rally).
Now the “K47” is available as a finely detailed model, initially in 1:18 scale, in high-quality resin and hand-signed by Roland Kussmaul in an edition of only 50 pieces. The model shows the specific details such as the license plate, the black brake air duct system and the Guards red wheels with the white RS logos on the hub cap.
The model will be delivered at the end of October 2024 after the models have been signed.
